Been in the works for nearly four years, a lot of ex-Skip Barber folks involved.

Dave Kaemmer, who is the principal and partners with Red Sox owner John Henry, was a co-founder of Papyrus Games, which built many of the most highly regarded PC simulations over the last ten years, Grand Prix Legends among them. The business model has changed since the beginning, as it was originally thought that it would be an online subscription service rather than a full blown standalone sim. The modeling, from what I understand, is pretty good and several folks who've beta tested have been complementary, but this field moves fast and the 2004 technology is in danger of being eclipsed by a number of other more nimble (and commercially released) simulation developers, Blimey! Games among them.

Can't wait to try VIR on it, though.
