    figured this would happen after TG's gravy train derailed.

    kind of a shame, as they were showing progress with Ed Carpenter (TG's stepson, IIRC)

    Keep it in the family, remember Kyle Krisiloff, that didn't work either.....

    now all TG's cronies are getting turfed from the Speedway and IRL, hopefully Barney will go soon as well.

    Just a mess really. I don't necessarily agree that CART would have imploded - it was certainly headed for more difficulties, but the split was the back breaker.

    I am not shocked that TG has failed. His strategy from the get go was clouded.
