    Hi All,
I have just bought an second hand Mondial T 3.4 exhaust and Cats for my 348TB. The seller said they they are the same can anyone here confirm this?

My reason for buying it is that I wanted a local Exhaust Fabricator to play with it to make my car a bit louder as it is so quiet and lacks any real exhaust note (ie. take out some baffles). I cant justify £2000+ on a sports exhaust so I thought this must make it sound better and should be achieved for less than £500 or so. I will keep my other exhaust intact so I can swap back standard.

Has anyone tried this before and if so what would you recommend?

    Thanks in advance.
    Tim

Hi Tim, I think I can confirm that this is not true, totally different size and shape I'm afraid. I would be tempted to fit higher flow cats than the originals if you get half a chance. I didn't pay a great deal more than £600 think it was for my exhaust (mostly because there's not a lot in it) and got high flow sports cats at the same time which were another £500 I think.

How loud do you want it to be? You'll need to listen to this through head phones I'm afraid as PC speakers fail to transmit the base from my exhaust, it will sound totally different through headphones, but this is mine compared to just straight pipes ie no cats and no muffler at all - just a straight pipe into the engine. Crank the volume up for full effect but mind your ears, mine's the red 348 that's second :)

This is compared to stock but to be fair the phone camera this was recorded on had a hard time recording mine, I think. Again headphones help.....

Tim, it's from Nouvalari in Nottingham. Mine is a tad loud if you live in a built up area (or like your neighbours even slightly) but they do a Sport which is a bit more sensible. Mine's a Supersport but they made it a bit different to some of them, I asked for something very raw. No chance of getting mine on a track and you'd need a friendly MOTer to hand :)
