Asked this question before and searched the archives but still cannot find a straight answer as to whether or not a 360 steering wheel is a direct bolt on installation onto a 355 without having to modify anything, and if the airbag function will still work. Found a few threads discussing this issue, and called a number on one of the threads, but no one picked up. Looking on trying to replace my 355 steering wheel. Please help! Thanks!!!

The splined thread may be the same but the big issue would be the air bag. I don't think you'd want that blowing up in your face!

I would direct this one to rifledriver.

    I think he would know.

I'm interested in this as well. I want to add a spacer to my 355 steering wheel. Saw various comments on this. Some folks say it is illegal to replace your steering wheel. Others say you can replace it with a Momo or something like that but that the horn won't work (I know a guy who did just that on his Lotus). I definitely want a horn, I definitely need the wheel closer, and I'd be ok with either a 360 wheel or a Mome (as long as the horn does work). Frankly, I could care less about the airbag - a seatbelt is just fine for me.
