Hi all. I am considering a 360 in a few months and am confused about the threads about battery chargers. It seems important for some reason that everyone has one, but I will not be able to as I do not have a garage. Anyway, if I use the car everyday, why would I need a battery trickle charger? Is this necessary or just used when the car is left un-used? Does this car usually lose its charge normally even if driven everyday, or would battery useage be the same as any other car under these conditions? -Robert.

No, but if you are going to let the car sit more than one week, then yes, and or turn off the battery at the kill switch inside the front boot.

If you use the car daily but you don't drive very far, the battery may not be getting fully charged. Hooking up a tender once in a while will top it off nicely. If you drive it a good distance every day, then a tender is likely not needed.

Thanks for the info guys. On a practical level, I intend to use the car everyday, but probably not very far. I usually replace my current car's battery every two years REGARDLESS, because I just believe its good insurance to have a new battery and not run the risk of it not starting. So, if I follow this course with the 360, do you think I should be ok? -Robert.

Just get a CTEK charger. Very easy to wire in behind your seat at the secondary terminal. There are threads showing how if you search. Then you can just plug in when you are not going to drive it for a while. I have had my 360 for almost 2 years, never had a problem, and I just use the front kill switch during the winter months.
