Was riding with a friend in a Daytona recently, and clutch pedal would not return at times.
Plus, the cable it sounded gritty. As I have never experienced a Dino clutch cable, are they the same
    R. Goldberg design? Or, a broken return spring? Dino has a huge return spring, so if problem is there.
definitely Dino cable is shot. Same for a Daytona?

The Dino cable is a flat band of steel running inside the long outer jacket. There are tiny ball bearings on either side of the flat steel band. Eventually, moisture enters the jacket and rusts the bearings, and the cable gets very stiff from ground up ball bearing particles, as well as rust and road grit. A Daytona cable is very short, and is a wire rope cable. If the wire rope gets frayed, it will make the clutch operation difficult, and potentially have the pedal stick.

Thank you Gary, so the recommendation would be to replace it?

    Regards, and Happy Holidays!

Ferrari parts have not been known to heal them selves! Yes, replace.
