there's a saying.... Never **** on ur boss, or...Never **** where u eat... i wonder what **** FA got himself into by blaming everyone except himself after a poor race performace by him.

and i also wonder what **** ron dennis got himself into next season. :D we've seen kimi's car falling part by part, yet he never says anything negative in the public about his team. so go figure, mr. alonso

What crack are you smoking? At worst he is 3rd fastest driver on the grid. At best he's the 3rd fastest? Who else would be faster, do tell?

Well, we've all seen JPM get angry at the Williams car and team and then his problems at McLaren. Let's see how close FA can replicate this. ;)

yeah..i totally forgot about this. how old is FA again? he might be joining JPM at NASCAR soon if this silly child-ish attitude of him continues.

I guess FA already has a WDC in his favor unlike JPM while entering McLaren. However, JPM was a title contender in 2003 and was pretty much on par with Kimi at McLaren. It just came down to Ron not liking JPM's speaking-his-mind attitude that Kimi doesn't even remotely have, lol.

did u read f1racing.net recently Al? i think it was just 2-3 days ago, dennis admitted that JPM's little tennis-motorcycle incident started this whole thing. his relationship with the team took a dive after that.

I'm not pro-Alonso or anti-Alonso, but the recent reports about his tantrums are rather alarming. I don't know if it's media exageration, selected quotes or what.

The spectacle I saw during the press conference at the Chinese GP, where Alonso was sulking while MS gave his explanations, didn't look good.

I know that he lost the race, but he still finished 2nd, which isn't bad. His face looked like he had been struck with disaster. I only look like that once a year, on the day I receive my tax bill!

Fred is making himself the "whipping boy" as you put it. If anybody steps up before the cameras and the world press, acting like a foolish clown, people will laugh, guaranteed! The boy just does not know when to shut the f*ck up. He can drive, but he is not a person of incisive wit or deep thought lest he might realize the folly of his words before spewing his bial on the media. To publicly blame every other person and possibility for failure, without even a momentary consideration of the possibility of his own contribution to the failing end result, is simply ludicrous, embarassing and insulting to all involved.

Absolutely!! Nobody can tell me that he had no input, as to tire choice or whether to change them at all. He went along with the decision to change the tires to the inters and THEY lost the gamble. It's as simple as that, another day at the races.

They lost the race on the track, the tires were not defective, they made their tire choice and it did not play into their advantage.

Oh, I forgot...Renault did it on purpose to screw with him, they don't like him....WAAA WAAA WAAA!!!

Of course, that may prove true in Japan, we'll have to wait and see. I surely can't say that he has done anything to foster healthy team relations and goodwill.

Hmmm. Now http://www.pitpass.com has joined in. Maybe this was all just a storm in a tea-cup. When I first saw the story I did keep checking Pitpass and I was wondering why they didn't cover it. This is what they say:
    That's us told then!

    Not exactly.

The question isn't whether Renault is trying to "sabotage" Alonso.

The question is whether Alonso blurted that out in a fit of pique ... or whether some jouralist embellished a report.

... or whether the spin doctors are scrubbing frantically. ;)

Renault really had only two ways to respond to this quote:
    - Either say "Alonso's a wanker and we're glad he's leaving" (Unlikely with the championship hanging on the remaining races)
    - Or deny that Alonso really said that (Which they'd do whether he did or not)

Getting the press to put the question is a little more subtle.

I agree wholeheartedly, either way Renault would deny it. I hope that it was a journalist embellishing. As much as I am not an Alonso fan, he is the F1 champ and I want to see him make all dumb comments on the track.

Calm down child. In my honest opinion I think that KR and MS are faster; until they are all in the same car we'll never know, will we?

I have been trying to be reserved in my judgements on Alonzo, but I just read this headline on f1i.com:

    "Alonso turns attack to Fisichella"

Some of what is written there:

"Jean Todt hinted this week that Fisichella's precision driving on the straights was tantamount to illegal blocking, Alonso attacked his Roman cohort for overtaking him."

Could it be journalists just piling on, or did FA really crack?

I liked that bit on Speed TV where the commentators said it looks like Alonso was throwing a temper tantrum in the car while heating the tires. It was during the race on his new dry tires. He was going insane with the steering wheel at full speed. Anyone have a video or animated gif?

Fisi slowed down and let him finish in 2nd and Alonso was still complaining. If Fisi didn't pass Alonso that definitely could have lead to team rule violations. The previous race in Turkey, Fisichella had to slam on his brakes to avoid running into Alonso in the first corner. Fisichella sacrificed his race to allow Alonso to do well. Fernando needs to relax, shut his mouth and just go out and drive.

I have to admit though, it takes balls for a driver to do that. He was on the first lap on his dry tires on a slightly damp track, accelerating, and he decides to shake it like crazy. I'll try to see what the ITV guys said. (just finished the download this morning :D )

That's a bit harsh. No doubt he's in a good car. but he is easily beating his team mate.

I think FA is an excellent driver just as Terrell Owens is an excellent wide receiver.

Having said that, I'd want neither on my team.....
