True But new is still fun - but it seems only for a short while. I have not bought a new car in a long time that has made it to my collection. With every new car I keep thinking about what will replace it in very short order Disagree with you on the 246. Can see the merits of a 308 and a 328 but no interest for as long as I have my 288 GTO. Simply don't like driving a Boxer - deadly cool looking but car doesn't suit me. Obviously like the Daytona and the F40 as I am a long-term owner of both Sad but true
I am painfully bored. Bored with how long it's taking my funds to build up so I can buy another. Althought I have narrowed my desire down to one. One of each! I am also bored with having to earn a living when I want to be enjoying my car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not bored with my 308 and still get a hoot out of it every time I drive it. However if I ever have to get rid of all my toys, the Harley will be the last to go. I think the MG will be the first, followed by the airplane, then the Ferrari and last to go would be the Harley.
Still not bored Actually having more fun lately Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well I didn't look through the whole thing, but if there is anyone bored off their ferrari, I am ready to pay anywhere up to 5 dollars to take it off your hand.
Bored, Definitely not. I think it woke up that childhood enthusiasm thats been asleep. That rekindled passion has me taking better care of my other daily drivers. It also has me unfortunately thinking about another one.
The thing about exotic cars in general, and Ferrari's in particular is that they can make the ordinary special. Even a drive to the market in a Ferrari takes you to a more exotic place, and makes it special. I have been fortunate have been driving Ferrari's for almost 30 years, and I hope to be able to always have at least one at all times. I have daily driven and rotated TRs, 308s, 348s, Modials, an F40, and the latest 'affair' with a Challenge Stradale is also very special. Bored? Never...
I took my car out last week for a cruise with my mate in his "new" 911. He also brought his 2 kids along. We had a GREAT time!!!! NO way in hell I am bored with my Ferrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
+100 Agree. After getting the 330 2+2, I soon found out that going to to the store to get milk while not exceeding 40 mph was an event in itself. Same goes for my current 308, but even better with the t-top off.
I never get tired of hearing the engine come to life everytime I hit the start button. I love this car.
I bought my Daytona in 1999, i still LOVE this car when thinking of selling it i can think of nothing to replace it with...thus it is a keeper
After selling my previous Ferrari (1983 400i 5 speed) in 2005, I ended up buying a new 07 Z06. It was fun, but nothing like a Ferrari. I really missed my Ferrari. I definitely made up for it in the past year by acquiring an 01 Barchetta and an 04 575 Maranello. I put on over 7,000 miles between the 2 cars this summer. If I do tend to feel that I am getting bored or restless, I just get into one of the Ferraris, one of the best boredom killers! How could you get bored driving these cars, except maybe for the Vette? I think the 550 Barchetta will hold it's unique place for a long time... Fun car. Ugly with the top..... LOL!
