It is a charity event for the American Red Cross http://www.euroautofestival.com/charity.aspx

The wife and I will be staying at the Tapoco Lodge Resort on the way http://www.tapocolodge.com/ on the 15th-16th so we can explore the Dragon http://www.tailofthedragon.com/index.html , Cherohala Skyway and the Devil's Triangle. Then we will follow the road to the European Auto Fest http://www.euroautofestival.com/about.aspx at the BMW Zentrum automotive museum http://www.bmwusfactory.com/#/zentrum/ in Greer, S.C.

My wife and I made this event back in 2005 and I can assure you that it is first class and well worth the trip. The drive will be as good as the destination and the weather will be great for windows down driving. Fall Foliage will be in full swing.

Haha, you were in Spartanburg for the event in 2005? I probably walked right past you- and had lunch in the tent behind the Zentrum with you- and didn't even know it. Did you have an RS4 then?

    How are you doing Webb?

Yes I had an RS but it was the 07.

I am up at Tapoco today in the new 08. The roads are great as always and the engine loves the cold dry air.

We are going to see the Biltmore in the morning http://www.biltmore.com/
Then off to the fest on Friday.
I can't wait to take that M5 on the track :)
