I inquired about any service history on valve guide and headers and I am not sure the answer made me feel any better.

"I have no documentation regarding valves or headers. My Ferrari technician just had the engine out of that car and thoroughly inspected the headers and found no issues and reported no valve guide issues either. We also performed the major belt service including tensioners and water pump, all fluids flushed and replenished including Mobil 1 synthetic oil change, A/C evac. test and recharge, brake fluid, etc. Plus, we included a new clutch assembly. This car is healthy. Everything is in working order.

We have serviced and sold our share of F355’s over the years and have never seen either of these issues. I truly believe these things are blown way out of proportion. They probably happen only if the car is abused and overheated. After all, who goes on the chat sights when there cars are running well? It is only the complaints. I have seen it with almost every car. To name a few, the 90’s BMW 4.0 liter engine nicacil concern, the Jaguar’s V8 Timing chain tensioner concern, Acura NSX retainer clip concern. Everyone is asking about these things. Which is OK. I understand the concern. But I am here to tell you, we sell AND SERVICE all of these cars. We have never seen one of these issues on any of the cars in our shop. Call us lucky or maybe it is because we are very picky about the examples we bring in and offer for sale. By the way, we’ve been in the sales and service business for high end and exotic vehicles for over 35 years. Same owner. Same location. Just doing it right!

Please feel free to call me. I would be more than happy to try and answer any questions you may have."

Saw it in person when I picked up my 355 from them about 1.5 months ago. Front fender isn't aligned properly, was in a crash as I remember.

I purchased a car from them approx. 2 years ago. I am now looking to trade it in on a F355 spider and they are offering me less than my Ferrari dealership is. I also think they are overpriced. The car that you are asking about has been there for a few months already. I believe it does have some accident damage but the carfax (hopefully) will prove this. I also see that they have a 360 coupe with 2k miles. They want approx. 148K for this car. I have seen similar cars going for less money. They are not really willing to deal with their vehicles. When I asked them about the 360, they said that they believe that they could get that price for it. If they thought they would not be able to see this car at that price, they would have priced it lower. That car has been sitting down there for several months as well. Keep looking around. I'm sure you will find a good deal on a car that feels right.

    Best of Luck....
