    A friend of a friend ordered one that is supposed to arrive in a few weeks. He wants to sell it. Please let me know if you or anyone you know is interested, and I'll give you the details on the car. Of course, he wants a premium for it. I don't know if the 458s are selling over MSRP in the after market. I don't know what the MSRP is. I don't even know how much mine cost. I don't know much at all, do I?

    I remember when the 430 Spider was being introduced and some guy was selling his place in line on eBay for $80k

    he had a picture of the 430 and a scan of his order form......didn't see if the auction actually ended in a sale

    how much of a premium are 458s commanding?

    Anyone who pays over msrp. is a fool. I bought a new scud from a dealer for 45K+ under msrp. There are people who payed over 500K for 599's. You can get a very low mileage one today for not much more than 200K.

    Spot on.

    Why would you pay over MSRP for any car, when in 99.9% of these cases, the price of this car will be normal when the dust settles? I do not like dust on my cars.
