Is anyone on Fchat doing a Photo 365/daily photo project?

I had one going for about 75 days or so. Problem was I had been getting caught up in other business ventures and by the time I got home from work everyday it was dark and was limited in what I could photograph.

Didn't feel like carrying $$$$ in gear in my car everyday so I lost touch with the project. I'm disappointed in myself because it was great while it lasted. I need to start it back up again, from where I left off of course.

Maybe I should be doing this using my phone. It's a great diary of the year.

 

I did a 30 day food one for a class I took a year or so ago. It was fun but it took some dedication. Taking that on for a whole year takes even more!! I thought about shaving my beard and mustache off and taking shots of it growing back. That might have been interesting if I could have found some fun backgrounds.

If this works this should be a copy of the slideshow I presented after the 30 days was up...

I use to do that with sketches, a small 10 minute sketch of whatever catches my fancy each day. It was great and served as an artistic diary, and since I couldn't draw the same thing each day, it forces me to be more creative then I am usually.

Unfortunately, with most things in life, I got too busy to get to it =(

I've been taking a pic of myself every day since the first day of med school. Almost 2 years later and starting 3rd year and I've already aged noticeably (to me). I will post the video on YouTube when I graduate...I don't know of anyone that took a pic of their face throughout med school. Finally got my step score and will start smiling again in my pics, lol.

 

Great idea!! That will be fun to share!!

 

I'll be sure to post a link when I get it done. The pic a day photos I've seen of people aren't that unique in that they look the same and the background never changes. You see me growing in my beard in 3 weeks, then mustache, etc, lol. Plus, I tried to get the background to be something interesting if I had the opportunity.

You'll see an F2002/FXX/Enzo (Celebration car show), Space Shuttle Atlantis launch (STS-129), Times Square, National Archives, Camden Yards, Georgia Aquarium penguins, etc. Most if it is is in my room because I was studying.

 

You didn't age, you've just matured as a person. =) That's what med school will do for you.

the 365 page contain the months of 2008, and folders for 2009 (with months), 2010 (with months) and 2011 (with months)

I missed a few here and there, but usually always had a spare camera ready for a pic when the normal one was in for service. Only problem is December 2010 which only got 24 pictures. I royally f****d up when I transferred images from my card to my harddrive. I didn't check if all had been transferred before I formatted the card. Of course all had NOT been transferred grrrr. So I lost a big batch there.

Otherwise you will see a great deal of extremely poor pics and also some good or excellent pics
