I have heard for almost two years they will sell the Tornado Triple tre 900cc. Anyone speak with an authorized dealer, who knows when the bikes will actually show up ? They have been in Europe for quite some time.
I talked to a guy from Florida 2 years ago at Road Atlanta at the AMA Nationals (superbike etc.). He had a tent set up with a Benelli as well as some tuner stuff for the MV ( like a 1000cc kit). Anyway, he said he was the US importer and would be bringing them in in a few months...... 2 years ago! Never heard any more. Too bad IMO, the bikes are kind of cool up close but a little over the top for my taste, esp the rear end. My kids liked the bikes looks. Now 2 years later they have clearly missed their chance. I think 2 years is forever in the scooter world.
Actually we are slated to become the Benelli dealer in the rocky mountain region if they get their act together. The bottom line is that no one knows what's going to happen with Benelli and the US.
