is cavis wire still being made?

I recently had a major service and paid $588 for a new wire set on my 85 308, to my suprise the wires looke like the same ones I've been looking at for 24 years. upon questioning the shop owner he said the inner wires were replaced with new cavis wires only the new ones have solid wires instead of spiral core's. upon inspection it appears all of the wires have spiral cores and appear to be original wires. I have tried to locate cavis online with no luck. Things are getting shady over here... is cavis wire still available in bulk?? or have I been had!

 

thanks, the guy claims he made a mistake, however he also forgot boots and rotors, intake boot, all of them on the invoice.
