He recently turned 19-years-old. Won the COTA IndyCar round. Displayed superb racecraft at the recent Texas World Speedway oval race. On pole for tomorrow’s Road America IndyCar race. According to many in the IndyCar paddock, he has an uncanny ability far beyond his years to understand the nuances of car setup, and to meaningfully articulate technical feedback to his crew chief and team engineers. Perhaps he’ll be F1 bound in the not-too-distant future . . .
19 is a bit old already,if he is not already in one of the F1 junior programmes. Unless Paps is a Billionaire or can bring big $$$ sponsor to Haas.
He is in Indycar he doesn't need to join a F1 jnr programme. He has more super licence points then Mick Schumacher with just the Indy win alone. If he is too old then so is Mick. Haas has a non-existent energy drink as a sponsor I think he can find enough money Good luck to him
He raced in Europe a couple seasons ago with solid if unspectacular results... He's looking very strong lately though...and F1 could certainly do with having an American in the field. BTW it's Colton, not Colin Don't think dad Bryan isn't super-rich...but George SteinbrennerIV (Colton's 22-year old team owner) is certainly so and could be valuable friend to have going forward...
I wouldn't be surprised if they let him test with Haas at least, Liberty seems to promote this type of stuff
