My question is: Is the door seal surrond that is used on the Testarossa/TR a common dimension/cross section? I'm not talking about the length, but the shape of the seal....Thanks

It's got FUR on it, and you are asking if it's "common"?! ;)

Seriously, IME, nothing so uber-strict (rigid dimension standardization) applies in that type of product. If you do an internet search on "edge trim bulb seal", you should get many sources to scan for a match/near match. Since I'm in the western hemisphere, I usually start with www.trimlok.com/cat/Trim-Seal/Browse-All-Products_101.aspx (their Trim-Seal stuff has that general profile form - and you can even design your own -- if you commit to buying a Truckload ;)), but F must have sourced it originally from a European (if not Italian)-based source so I'd search that continent first.

OK Steve I'll be more direct.........You have purchased door seals from me for your Testarossa.......Your aware of the quality.............I'm inquiring to see if there are other years and models of Ferrari that use the "same" seals? I just figure that if I have already imported 1000's of feet for the Testa...maybe there are other models that it might be "correct" for.......

And you couldn't have put that in your first post? (I've no information there, and would not have posted.)

The total length is 156.3", divided into

    B-Post 37.0
    Sill 45.3
    A-Post/Cant Rail 74.0

The sill has two 90° joints going up the B-post in the back and up the A-post on the front.
The B-post has a 90° joint to the cant rail.
The cant rail is continuous to the A-post, which is continuous down to the sill.

Wow!! Thanks for the "complete" spec of the door opening....So actually, one would need 3 seperate lengths of seal per door or 27-28 feet of seal per door. I have many random remants of the seal material which could be used to make up a replacement set for the Mondial...Thanks for your time and info,,

    Truly thankful Me

You are welcome. By the way, that is for the right door. The left door is about 1/2" longer on my car if I recall correctly. The original seals are glued together in the 90° corners and will pull away with age and leave a gap. I used 3 separate pieces to replace my original ones. I bought the correct section and glued a new fur strip on to retain the original look. In the corners, I inserted 3" long by about 1/2" diameter rubber pieces half way into the ends to assure sealing continuity.
