Is Finalgear.com down?

I saw it was down today, too, but I don't know why. Speaking of which, this past Sunday's episode was awesome. I can't wait for the rest of the season, but it sucks it's only 6 episodes this time.

 

There was a post on their message board saying that the guy running the site was detained for copyright violations but then everyone said it was just a false rumor. I don't know. I have not been able to get on it.

I download the topgear episodes from mininova.org. there is a 700mb version of the new episode on there.

I read on another forum that the guy from final gear is just out of town and not detained and that is why he didn't release his normal 350mb version of the episode this week and that he would be releasing it later.

Anyone know how to speed up torrents? I can't seem to download faster than 15kb/s it takes forever to get these things.

 

Mininova just doesn't have enough seeders (on these types of files) to get a good download rate. I've had better luck at Torrentspy with fifth gear/top gear episodes.

 

isohunt has worked well for me.
