    Waiting for your car to arrive is worst then watching paint dry. My last car I bought locally so I did not have to wait to take delivery. I swear its like time has completely stopped. Not to mention I have yet to talk to the shippers so I am not exactly sure if the car is getting here today or tomorrow...

    When I bought mine, it was going to take two weeks to be delivered. After the first week of waiting I flew out on first Monday AM flight and was waiting at the door for them to open so I could drive her home.......Great ride.....Good luck......Steve

    That is awesome. The car isn't that far away and they picked it up the day I bought it so unfortunately I can't do that. Not to mention our weather sucks right now and I would have probably ended up driving it in the snow!

    The wait is terrible.

    Please note...

    You will be "caught up in the moment" and there may be papers to sign and other LEGAL events taking place.

    INSPECT THE CAR!!!!!

    Start with the VIN and then do a thorough external and internal inspection.

    Stuff happens during shipping and I don't want you getting stuck!!!

    Make sure the number and type of keys is correct and make sure EACH remote works.

    Please do all this stuff even in inclement weather!!!

    Congrats on the car and I don't mean to sound negative in any way but I've heard enough stories and lived through a few.

    I know the feeling, you can take forever to decide to buy or not (took me two months) but when you have made up your mind you want it IMEDIATLY and every day of waiting is a torture. My car was one day late and that day was one of the longest in my life.

    I picked it up around 3 today. Unfortunately it was raining but I drove it anyway. I forgot how much of a smile driving these cars bring. I will post some pictures tomorrow when I can. Its good to be back in the "club" I'll try to avoid concrete walls with this car! :)

    Thats why i buy within a days drive. I dont mind spending a little extra to just get what i wamt when i want it.
