Well, you´re going too far. Nobody back in 1967 knew how the Daytona was going to age, and the same goes for the new cars. We´ll see in a few years.

In my message I wasn´t referring specifically to this model. I don´t know if there is waiting list for the California. But there is for the 599, wich I personally think is uglier.

Yes this is just my personal opinion, but recently I cannot agree with your faith.
Agree, but the F355 was a good looking car.
The F430 is debateably the ugliest mid-engined Ferrari ever produced. The high tail lights is a styling disaster.
While I agree that the 575 is a bit of a miss due to the headlights, I've always like the simple and elegant lines of the 550.

I wasn't just referring to the aesthetics. I meant the car as a whole: exterior style, interior style, acceleration, handling, braking, aerodynamics, driving position, usability, engine/exhaust music. So my point was that the cars in terms of these attributes are generally getting better.

This is a good thing for all Ferrari owners. With such a small production volume, no matter if it is 7K or 9K per year, the Ferrari company could easily go extinct. This wouldn't be good for anyone owning or wanting to own a Ferrari.

The trend is well established, and not singular to the Daytona.

The 599 looks almost reasonable in comparison. And I'm willing to bet that two-year wait has shortened significantly in the last 9months.

No, not just you and I feel the same way about the 599 rear end.

F355 was a very good looking car for its time and 360 is even better. :) I don't like the rear end of the F430 at all but I wouldn't call it the ugliest midengine Ferrari ever made. (for example, clearly the Scuderia rear end is worse than the F430) The California rear end is no beauty queen but it's easier on the eyes than the F430 / Scuderia. If they made the mid-section of the rear end body colored than it would simply be FAT instead of FAT AND Ugly.
