Its been about 2 weeks now, and I am finding the threads to be either lame, or already discussed in some past tense.

    Is fchat get boring ?

What can we do to make it more interesting ?

Rickster, as we have spoken before I TOTALLY agree. The threads are indeed lame and that's why I am being such a merge-aholic only because it's best to keep all the nonesense, joke and other crap in the beaver thread.

Also keep in mind that the winter does not help. No ride, no spotting etc.

It just seems that nothing going on with anything.

Anyone got anything of interest going on ?

I cracked open a Vodaka and Oj at 2pm, thats the highlight of my weekend.

Even going to eat out at resturants are boring now.

Tell me about it. The highlight of my weekend was playing chauffeur to a buddy of mine around Hamilton/Toronto.

Only thing of interest from me is a lead on a new job opening I got recently. About twice the salary, but I'm guessing the procedure's going to take a while (government position in Toronto).

Rick, you defintely need a change of scenery.

The sommelier in the house landed a great internship under one of the best sommeliers in the city.

The boy and I rocked the slopes this weekend on our snowboards. He managed to get stuck on one of the lifts, which was hilarious. Otherwise, his boarding is coming along great.

Speed GT and Touring Car from Sebring is ready and waiting on the PVR.

I'm planning my racing season, so nothing's boring over here!

    Fantastic weekend!

It's so boring out there that for excitement I insulated most of my garage roof. As a reward, Vodka with Blue Curacao. Even the race this morning wasn't as exciting as Bahrain.

I'm also working on the GT4. All the brake fluid drained out over the winter. The brake pressure fail switch is leaking, only GBP671 from Fo***! I think the Jalpa and early 80's Diablo have a similar unit, and only US118. Also need to check Fiat of course.

For the rest, yes even the restaurant's are getting passe. Had diner last night at Lokshen Alfredo, for once it was disappointing there.

Try those mixed with white cranberry juice, one of our favorite drinks lately....

Sorry to hear that. I haven't been there in a whie, but they have the most amazing warm mushroom salad and a great chicken pasta dish...I always order both when I go. For the most part, when I eat Italian in the "hood", It's Mezza Notte 9 times out of 10. Rob and Gus are great.

Perhaps all that could have been said has been said; with the exception of the occasional troll hunt or mechanical malfuncton riddle in the Tech section.

As far as some of us that have been feeling blue...blame it on a long (but not necessarily hard) winter.

As for me....I've had a cloud over my head since I lost my mom last February, so I'm not really looking forward to much of anything lately. My wife even has to force me out of bed to watch F-1; and I find working on the red car to be an "arduous" task.

Perhaps spring and warmer temperatures will bring about some anecdotes and stories from the "high road".

    Till then..."bottom's up!"

part of the reason why I did not renew my subscripiton was for the aforementioned.
I am sick of 15 and 16 yr olds with their "expertise" on cars and life telling us what they think is fact.

I am optimistic....hopeful...that the warm weather will bring a new set of relevant and exciting topics for Canada and Fchat.

Just to break the Ice, I am doing the factory owners tour Apr 21. Got my nice package from F of North America
    Anyone been there before????

My good friend (with the f-chat name HELDERRR) was there a couple of years ago and he loved it. He also did the Lambo thing too which I would recommend judging by his pics & stories. He has many pics but unfortunately not with a digi-cam.

He even cought pics of the Enzo "test mule" at Fiorano. Pretty cool. I should get him to scan at least those.

Have fun in Maranello and let us know how it went.
