I say 360 market will be 95k to 105k for good examples, 430 125k to 135k, 458 160k to 170k range by March. The 360 market has held the most steady.

With real inflation what it is, I think you are being overly optimistic. Yes there is and will be a drop from peak, but we will never return to the prices you state for good examples. I do expect there to be more poor examples available as these cars age and people can’t keep up with repairs or maintenance and good examples become more of a unicorn.

GOOD is a very subjective measurement. He might be right considering his definition, and you might also be right. Hard to deny objectively that the market is cooling.

It's a faster car in every way, not sure what the point of your post is. 4 seconds per lap quicker at Fiorano.

85+hp more, 70 lb-ft more torque, much improved ABS logic, revised suspension and e-Diff, faster gear changes for the F1 box, more downforce, etc.

Having owned both, the 430 leaves the 360 for dead. Maybe the 430s you've encountered were driven poorly...

I’ll keep up w you at cars and coffee in my puma track suit and Ferrari sunglasses :)

both good cars, can’t go wrong…

and honestly never ever seen a 360 and a 430 on a track at the same time duking it out…

let’s be honest most of these old cars are relegated to fca drives and coffee runs.

but I love some bench racing.

LOL - a 360 will stay with an F430! Might do if Miss Daisy was in the 430!

That's like saying an F430 will keep with a 458. Same driver, same skills it won't!

A 360 cannot keep up with a F430. That's just factual. That said, who cares? I've owned a F430 and loved it. I switched to a 458 that is "better in every way." I still miss certain aspects of the F430. I have a EVO that's "faster" than the 458 but I still love the 458 best. All this theoretical talk is pointless.

I’ve got a Mini that will keep up with an 458 on the road, but the Mini is not stock. Your right though who cares about the cars there is always something faster, so it’s all a bit pointless, however this is more about talking b0ll0x and people do care about that.

I wouldn't bother trying to time the 430 market. If the right car comes about at a price you're comfortable with, pull the trigger. I couldn't care less if my car goes up or down in value in the next year. There's no chance I'm selling it.

Another F430 spider owner here. I think it’s the best value Ferrari right now, so I wouldn’t get hung up on whether you pay +/- 10k trying to time the market. Have to make a move sometime.

It’s been quite awhile since I last posted. Unfortunately in the intervening time I’ve had several surgeries, and they’ve taken a lot out of me. Still, I’m on the mend. I also realize that I don’t know how much sand is left in my “hour glass”. I sold the Miata, and realized that any sports car will involve some adjustments in my current situation. I dream of getting another Ferrari, but the reality is that driving the Miata made me realize that Father Time is hard to beat.

I also stopped riding motorcycles - I can no longer control them safely. Still, I’ve enjoyed my “toys”, especially with my bride of 51 years enjoying them with me. As hard as it is for me to believe my current ride is a 2023 Tesla Model Y - not even the performance version.

The morale of my tale is simply this: If you have an itch to scratch, do it when you can.

Maybe I’ll be able to return to a Ferrari at some point, but in the meantime I’ll enjoy reading the forum posts and recalling all the fun that this hobby provides.
