I was told by an employee of Shelton Ferrari that becoz of USA fed laws and that Ferrari Spa did not want Euro specs Enzo to enter USA...so they designed different carbon fiber tub of the Enzos for both versions...Is this true ?

I mean for Ferrari Spa to spend extra $$$ on a tub that looks similar for the same car, but with differences would be a waste of $$$....Right ???

I mean even if somone imported a Euro spec Enzo to USA...how on earth are the officials going to tell whether they have USA or Euro tub in the first place ???

Strip the car to bare "kit form" to verify if it's USA or Euro specs tub ???

It is not so far fetched that Ferrari would build different versions to meet the specific standards required by each market. USA market Ferrari models in general differ from Canadian Ferrari models. The vehicle serial number for each model lets the factory identify what market the Ferrari was built for. Ironically after a vehicle is 15 years old there are NO restrictions at all regarding importation of any vehicle from Europe or anywhere else. All the so called standards mean nothing at all.
