Martin, I believe your thread would be called "How to confess to my wife about my old Ferrari purchase."

Having a Ferrari sitting in the garage, even if it's not being used, creates a warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach - so the winter months aren't empty of emotion...

I’ve bought and sold over 60 cars in my life so far. My wife couldn’t care less what’s in the garage, as long as she has a reliable car herself.

I live in Wisconsin, and when the weather suitable like after a rain to wash away the salt, I'll drive my 360. I was at a restaurant once and some people were talking about some crazy nut driving his yellow Ferrari in January and my wife was laughing out loud and pointing at me saying "that's you Honey!".
Not being able to drive it does make it that more special when you can.
Don't forget you might want to join the local Ferrari Club, we have a pretty good one here. Great people and Fantastic events all through out Summer!

I learned early in life that if I ask my wife for permission the answer is almost always NO.

So as long as I'm not asking for her money and I'm spending my own hard earned money I just go ahead and buy it. No more permission asking.

I do take care of her and give her monthly shopping money, take her out to dinner frequently and bought her a BMW to drive which she loves.

    Life is good.
    Enough of that permission stuff.

I have to confess to using a different ploy with my wife. I simply went out testing cars over 9 months or so, she became so bored with me not making a decision that she actually took me to the showroom and bought it for me [emoji16]

Buy the car! Drive it twice as much in the summer to make up winter storage.
