No, I'd bet that he's not.
There are quite a few people (some of which are on this board) that will receive their LaF's before him AND make his collection of cars look meaningless and small.
    Amazing world we live in!

I dont think he ever owned an F50. The F40 was indeed sold a long time ago.

It doesn't mean he will receive it first, the original question meant to ask if he was the first true confirmed owner of the car, which he isn't because a) a few here have done so before and b) the article states it is unknown whether he was there to spec a LaFerrari or something else.

As for the second part of your point, why is it importnat that others make Jay's car colection seem meaningless and small? Everyone here knows there are "better" collections than his, but the guy is obviously very enthusiastic about cars - Ferrari's in particular - and I think that's pretty cool. His music videos always feature some great cars (the Cosmic Girl video certainly had a hand in continuing my fascination with the F40 and other cars) and the music ain't that bad either. He's had quite a few great cars go through that collection and I think it's a lot more fitting that he would own a LaFerrari than some dip**** 20 year old sultan's son who will only drive it around while it's in vogue, then uncerimoniously abandon it when his yacht is finished, or another object takes his fancy.

Jay Kay is a nice guy, and I really do hope he gets one of those cars. Preferably in black, like his "Black Devil Car" - the Enzo, which he seemed to have no problem in securing.

I tend to agree and having been at Fiorano whilst he was pedalled round by Alonso, I don't think he will have much difficulty in securing an LF.

In a video in the last year or so I thought he said he had located another F40.

If you find that article interesting in any way then I worry about you. Nothing but utter fluff.

    Who cares who owns what?
