Many many years ago when I first started looking for Ferrari info on the new-fangled WWW, I ran across a website dedicated to the 308GT4. The url is http://members.tripod.com/~ferrari308gt4/ferrari.html It was the site that made me realize that even a guy like me could afford to drive a V8. The site hasn't been updated for a while, and I was wondering if anyone knew whether the designer still has his GT4. In any case, if you happen to read this Mr. Perry, thanks for the inspiration!
Tillman, He was on the original f-list. he moved to italy for a while and have not heard from him since he moved back. Rob
Hey, I was googling some things and found someone that wondered if I was upright and breathing. Contrary to other reports I have a pulse. Glad to see I provided some inspiration to someone! Hi Robert!
Man....just found this thread. Jim Perry passed away about 18 months ago at 59. He was a friend of mine from my time on an IMSA racing team (met him around 2009). Well after I was back to normal life, I'd talk to him periodically, I told him once I was looking for a GT4, and he says "You know I have one, right?" (never once mentioned in the 3 years I saw him daily). I contacted his wife early this year, and bought the car from them and will put it back on the road. His website still lives on... https://ferrari.jimperry.net/ferrari.html @GrigioGuy @robertgarven Miss you, Jim. sjd
