Is Lewis Hamilton your favourite current F1 driver?

Do the drivers pick teams or do teams pick drivers? At the end of the day, it's all about the $$$. Merc offered more and for longer than mclaren. Hamilton took the cash and ran off to his private jet as quick as he could. His move was not a mark of sporting genius.

Look - he's still young and has several years ahead of him. He could yet end up with epic stats. He will be f1 top 10 regardless of how we see it. Will he be top 5? Borderline. Will he be GOAT? Never.

 

Crikey, if that is true, there's been a distinct lack of 'racing' in F1 for the last couple of years, and for the rest of this one and into next to look forward too....... Sheesh, this is getting gory

 

Vettel fits nicely as well in this scenario. Won a race in something less than a perfect car, 4 titles, youngest this and that. They are all capable of "legend" or they would not be in the sport.

As Mansell stated - there is not one best driver, there are a number who, in the right car can win. LH is doing that. He has not done what FA has done in a dog of car when FA was at Ferrari.

I dont hero worship anyone. Not for sure racing drivers. Legends cure diseases. These guys are entertainers and overpaid at that...
