hi everyone, i'm serching for my new car and considering a 02~03 Maserati coupe and have some questions. how reliable is this car? is it good enough for a daily driver? may be 10,000 miles/year... how expensive is the service? and do they have extended warranty that can be purchesed later? and how much is the Tubi exhaust for the coupe? and i heard it's same engine as the F360, is that true? thanks everyone!!
my 02 Spyder was my daily driver and I was putting around 5k miles/month on it. Now I have an 06 Coupe for a daily driver. Call me if you have any questions on my cell 405-255-1803
Try a search in this forum on 'daily driver'. You'll find a wealth of feedback. Simple answer - yes, it is a fine daily driver, but not a Lexus or Prius. Also, do the same search on www.************.com in the modern cars forum. You'll get even better info there, IMHO. Mike
Friend of mine drove a 4200 GT everyday for a year and had no problems to speak of, he has now been driving a Gransport for a little under a year and there have been a few issues, dud headlight, small oil leak, fuel pump replacement but thats about it, the car has never left him stranded.
We raced a Maserati Coupe , in 2004 in the "Rolex Series" Our first race , "24 Hours of Daytona" one of our drivers, had an off course excursion, busted the radiator, cooked the engine. DNF. We put in a new engine for the next race and went 9 races on the same engine that season without a mechanical breakdown. Plus we had a few podium finishes.
