    My window all of a sudden doesn’t go up or down. I can hear the motor but nothing happens.

    Does the window just need to be aligned or do I need a brand new actuator?

    There is a fairly complex mechanism for raising and lowering the window. Since you can hear the motor operating I suspect something else, like a broken cable. Here is a good video describing how to remove the door panel…
