I have been hunting for a V12 Lusso and I have just been offered a spec I really like. The only option that is missing is the suspension lift. Given how the Lusso sits is this as big an issue as say a 458 or 488? Is this a big negative for resale? Thanks
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/144524074/ We don't really know what the roads are like where you live but perhaps there's useful information here
it was a deal breaker for me on an F12. i am not sure if the Lusso is similar ground clearance. i researched adding the lift after and Novitec was the only one that offered a solution for roughly 10k USD. my F12 has the lift and there are many times where i don't activate it and it does scrape the bottom of the front spoiler, always underside where you cannot see, never the visible edges.
Don’t have it on my Lusso, semi-daily the car and never need the lift. Regularly use 3RS on the same roads and that does need the lift.
I only used mine just to see how it worked. Many times if you approach at an angle, and slowly, you either won't scrape or if you do it is minor and underneath the car.
Yea, it does depend on how much something means to you. As far as the lifter, I could have cared less. My two "must haves" were the front view camera and the panoramic roof.
I have it on mine but rarely use it. All depends on where you live though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Considered it a must have on my cars. My FF had it and I used it all the time. My F 12 has it and I use it all the time. When I don’t I scrape or bottom out on my Uneven brick paved Street and /or underground hospital parking garage exit. That said- My Lusso does not have it and I’m fine. If you check the Ferrari catalog on their website, the lifter is an option that can be added according to Ferrari.com
Interesting that some have to use it. My car is lowered with novi springs and never had to use it. Maybe because I’m used to being super low as my Testarossa front valence would scrape often Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Never used it on my FF and used it once on my F12. I dont have it on my Pista and it hasn't been an issue.
i only use mine on entry/exit areas with a slope. roads are typically ok and potholes come up too fast to even consider using the lift. the f12 has so much sound insulation you probably never hear front end scrapes. with radio on i wouldn't be able to.
1FF and 4 Lussos... only my current and hopefully last Lusso has the lift and I will use it only after we drop the car .5 inchs.. also I have the carbon front lip on this car so just paranoid to scratch it. Other then that my previous cars did not have it and I never wished I needed it. Gosh even my 812 does not have a lift and its fine, so interesting that everyone thinks these cars GT type cars need lifts but they have all been fine so far and Toronto is nasty.
I had it on my Diablo but rarely used it. Not a deal breaker for me and I did not order it on the 812 either.
