Is repainting on a carbon fiber body any more than steel/aluminum?

    I'm looking at a used exotic that may need repainting both the hood and bumper due to road rash. While the car is red, the hood and bumper is carbon fiber. Is the expense any greater in the prep work dealing with repainting carbon fiber?

    Paint removal methods are not necessarily the same, and potential for damage to a composite layup is greater (IMHO).
