Is that a kit car?

What I don't understand is why some of you scan kit car sites, and kit cars on Ebay?

Then you post them on Chat and talk about how terrible they are. If they're that upsetting to you (you know who you are ), why do you keep looking for them in the first place???

I think your interest in kit cars may be of another nature. Possibly you're searching to buy one, but are afraid to admit it!!

PS. Rick's Daytona replica IS gorgeous. I know some of you would have difficulty telling it from the real thing.

PPS. Check out Chelle and Haley's project in the 'Chicago' section. It's a 250 GTO, and I think anyone would be proud to own the car when it's done!

 

Darolls, well said, however, sometimes when searching for the real McCoy, the kits come up peppered in between so they may not intentionally be searching for a kit, they just stumble accross one in their search.

I have been following the pics on the Chicago section for Haley and Chelle's project, and that is something to behold. I hope someday I can see it in person!

I know, same thing with me and my ID. I get more questions about my real ID now that I am 21 than I did when I had my fake ID. Crazy stuff.

 

I understand and agree, but I do know that some are purposely searching kit car sites.

I have seen it in person a couple of weeks ago, and I'm totally amazed at what these girls have created. It's totally beyond my capabilities!!!

Hey Skip are you "Daroll"? If so now I know who to thanks on the compliment of my toy. Thanks. I wish I had the time and talent that the ladies have buidling the GT 250, here in the Windy city. Let's see the non believers take a look at that "KIT", unbelievable work they have done on it. I was thinking of asking them to help me put in my Daytona dash whenever I get all the small parts for it along with the gauges.

PS: Just let me know if you need someone to start your toys and run them every so often, Hope the back is better! See yea, Pics coming from Pebble Beach when I get back. I'm even suppose to work the auction on Sat night there, hoping to drive the cars up on stage, that would be pretty cool.
