Is the 348 challenge exhaust same as 355?

    I have a challenge exhaust on the 348ss, does anyone know if it will also fit the 355? I was thinking the person I bought it from pulled it off a 355 but am unsure...

    I would think so, but not sure.

    Ducati does that all the time.

    Not quite sure on this one..but I would assume the manifolds would not bolt on to 355 heads and the mufflers are most definatly different. The 355 has 3 inlet locations were as the 348 only has 2. The manifolds on the 355 have 2 exhaust outlets as well.

    Have to agree with Tom - first pic is 348, second is 355. 355 has that bypass thingie at the top center that the 348 doesn't.

    Also note that there are two challenge exhausts for the 355. One is just straight pipes and the other is a muffler for tracks with noise limits. The same is probably true for 348s but all I have seen is straight pipes. I have a challenge muffler on my 355.
