I really hope you are right but regulations, economics etc etc might change all that. Just trying to prepare myself for "the worst"
IMHO the worst already happened: ~1974. And yet, they still made some memorable cars. Even if they cross the 10k/ year barrier, Ferrari will still be a very small volume player. As they should be. My prediction is the V12 will be more rare in the line up, but it will still be there, and probably even more desirable because of it.
I don’t know but that seems very unlikely to me. They have said they will always have a V12, emissions laws (which I am quite familiar with) still allow for the V12 given that other models are reducing the carbon footprint and a hybrid V12 will do the same. Nah, I want some convincing they will make that mistake.
No he’s not sure. I was there at the 812SF private showing in Maranello when Enrico Galliera said they will always have a V12.
“Always” is a big statement, Ron. Perhaps he should have said “for the foreseeable future” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ha ha yes it does..."we will never build an SUV" said by almost everyone comes to mind. I have no idea what will actually happen, but I have been told that the 812 is the last V12 (by people that wouldn't definitively know) - I think only time will tell how true this is. If Ferrari are listening - any chance you could build a few thousand LAF's ex hybridisation? 800hp is enough for me
