    Dear Comrades,

    To add a slight deviation to the 'should the interior of the rear valance be painted black or left bear' I should like to pose the question as to the material that the aforementioned valance is created from. Therefore, is it carbon fibre (fiber) or glass fibre (fiber)?

    I am referring to the whole lower section at the rear of the car and through the centre part of which the exhaust pipes egress.

    I understand now what you refer to, that particular component is made in compsite material. Basiclly formed and reinforced resin. Main reason for the composite was due to compliance with bumper impact standards.

    Race versions I believe were formed in kevlar carbon-fiber.

    from my experiece with f-40's, the parts that are visible are carbon kevlar and carbon. When you dig deep into the car it's fiberglass. Regardless, the best modern ferrari. It must be one heck of a car in true form (euro non cat with std suspension).
