While i must admit i am more of a modern ferrari fan, im starting to get more into the classics.
i know most of the well known ferraris, but i am often interested to see restorations in the classic section of cars ive never heard of. some really beautiful cars that i just never knew existed. including some regular and special editions...

so i was wondering if anyone knew of a list, book, website etc... MUST HAVE PICTURES.

    thanks!!!!

I like the www.barchetta.cc website and their section called "Overview by Production Year and Type".
For example, here is a link to the 1965 to 1971 Ferrari models.
    http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/by-serial-number/ferrari-by-serial-number/model-index/model-index-by-date-1965-71/index.html

    Here are the 55 - 59 models:
    http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/by-serial-number/ferrari-by-serial-number/model-index/model-index-by-date-1955-59/index.html
    The 60 - 64 models:
    http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/by-serial-number/ferrari-by-serial-number/model-index/model-index-by-date-1960-64/index.html

Also, there are specific Ferrari model registries trying to get pictures of every serial numbered car of that type.
    For example:
    - www.ferrari355registry.com (4335 cars registered so far out of the 11,373 Ferrari 355's made, 223 cars with pics uploaded)
    - www.ferrari348registry.com (320 cars registered so far out of the 8,844 Ferrari 348's made, 215 cars with pics uploaded)
Here are links to the 355 & 348 registry entries with pics uploaded for them:
    - http://www.ferrari348registry.com/Ferrari_List.asp?pSel=Pictures&pVal=1

    Hope this helps.

A favourite "picture book" of mine is...wait for it....Ferrari (forward by Niki Lauda) by Godfrey Eaton from the Colour Library Automobile Series (printed in Spain) ISBN 0 86283 028 1...at only 5.95 pounds originally, it is not super high quality but still an enjoyable book.
