Dealers, people, parts, suppliers and all other services related to Ferrari? If someone had a good or bad experience they could add a comment under the company thread.
    ABC Ferrari service:
    Good experience....
    Not so good experience...
Don't use these guys they suck...
Not like Ebays rating but more of place for folks to leave feedback in some way. I'm starting to see people asking for feedback on service and people. Also people are getting screwed. Car sales rise and Fchat gains attention to con artist. There are many owners that are just getting into the marque and sometimes emotions take over. Buying a Ferrari is different then any other car buy. It might even prove positive for folks who have had a problem. It would allow the trouble maker to make good in public.
I hope I make sense with this request.
    Thanks.

There are ALL sorts of legal issues that would arise from having threads like that. I am not sure that Rob or others would want to take on that issue as it opens them to liability.

I know where you are going and I like the idea, but the ramifications are just too serious to ignore...

Not to mention that it might be stepping on the toes of some of the sponsors who help keep FChat running through their advertising support.

Just my initial .02, but I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination.

In regards to the negative comments they still happens, just spread all over the place. The liability issue is disclaimed in the "I Agree" click. Now the vendors could be upset if someone provides good service and is not a paying sponsor. I believe negative corporate comments will help legitimize and steer members to the paying sponsores. Positive comments that may upset a sponsor would only lead me to believe the sponsor is basically paying for their positive exposure. The sponsors are paying for ad space not a gold seal of approval. Of course anyone that is being bashed has the chance to make good and tell their side of the story. Let the reader decide. Every time I read about these horrible experiences it makes me think how lucky I was. I went the dealer route and it was still a close call. I can't afford $175k surprises. It was hard enough to get the wife to sign off on just the purchase price. lol.

Things change, dealerships change, experiences varry. A web posting has infinite life...give the facilities a chance to correct themselves, and leave the 'word of mouth' via PMs.

However, leaving NICE postings should be encouraged. IMO praise in public, and reprimand in private.

Things may change but it still doesn't change the fact that someone or some place provided good or bad service to you. If no one holds some of these guys to the fire they will keep exploiting our scene. I would have no trouble naming names on the internet if someone did me wrong. They get what they deserve. Maybe it will cause the change you speak of. If unreported no change will occur.
