There shouldn't indeed not be a difference, because the pads are the EXACT same. Noth are just Brembo pads with T4300 material. Same shape, same everything.

    No problem:)
If they are glazed and you don't do any "cleaning", give them a few more hard stops. The glazing is really tough, so at least 10 of the fast hard stops. Make sure your tyres are adjusted as the fronts will get hot.

I have a 2010 458 and it has incredible braking power whether cold or hot. Not sure what pads I have.

You're welcome. That's what the forum is all about:)

If you want to keep an eye on the pads yourself, it's super easy. Minimum pad thickness is 3 mm. Just don't confuse the pad material with the backing plate. You can easily see the pads and the material. Just use one of those small flat plastic spacers in 3.5mm you can buy in a hardware store as a feeler gauge. As long as it fits between the rotor and the backing plate of the pad, you are fine. Then when it just fits you know it's time to change pads.

A quick update.....I have done several hard stops now and got the brakes pretty hot! As soon as the brakes cooled I noticed a huge difference to the stopping performance. I basically did the run in procedure as mentioned on this post. It seems to have either de glazed the pads or burnt off and contaminants that were on them ie cleaning products. The brakes now work as I think they should the car stops well at slow speeds which it was struggling with prior to me getting the brakes hot and doing the burning procedure. I don't see and point in removing the pads to de glazed now as I am happy with how there performing. I think I will end up changing the fluid to the castrol race high temp one and upgrading to braided brake hoses at some point soon

Thank you everyone on here for your help and advice

What are the benefits to changing out the lines? I am probably going to be getting the Pagid RSC1 pads.

My rear pads look good and my front are extremely worn. Can I just replace the front with Pagid and keep the original on the rears? Here is pics of the pads front and back

I fitted HEL hoses and it made a noticeable difference and was an easy operation if you are half competent, it's worth removing your pads to check as mine had plenty of meat on them I think there was 9mm still on them but on removal I discovered they had all cracked and were falling apart!!! I fitted new genuine Ferrari ones and the brakes seem much improved.

I hear the best way to go is new discs by Surface Transformations
