    I have a friend trying to introduce to Ferrari. I know he should have
    gone to Cavallino Classic but is there anything --indoor swap meet of literature, etc.--he can go to within a few hours of NYC in the next month or two? Didn't there used to be an event in Chicago or was that decades ago...time flies when you're having fun

    Yes, it's called "Florida." Only a few hours away.... by plane.

    AFAIK, most of us button up our F-cars for the winter and put them away until some time in March or early April, depending on when the weather breaks. You can always go to Classic Coach in Elizabeth, NJ, and wander around and see all the cool stuff there for repair, restoration and storage.
