just wondering
Hopefully it won't. Channel 4 says partly cloudy on Saturday, in the low 50's. The event on New Years was unbearable.
This is not an FCA event and is open to anyone to attend. Info: http://www.classicbmw.com/MiscPage_3#scid=2043544&cid=710122&tc=11020311310186005&rl_key=1bf3c998cc3572ed82b6a21247810c95
I am really hoping it is rescheduled for next week. They did that one time last year when the weather was lame like this.
Ya i dont think anyone wants to drive there nice car around with all this sand and crap on the road being kicked up
Good news for everyone. Classic BMW's Facebook page just posted that this is postponed until next weekend.
Looks like its on. I am planning on going. http://www.classicbmw.com/MiscPage_3#scid=2043544&cid=710122&tc=11020311310186005&rl_key=1bf3c998cc3572ed82b6a21247810c95
There's so much crap on the roads I don't think I'll drive the Ferrari, but I'll probably come and wander around.
The one on New Years Day was cold. Hovered around the freezing mark. Very small turnout. Even the Porkers were in small numbers. We'll just have to see. Conner is more than likely bringing his SC Targa from what he told me.
Little treat for you guys, I think. Somebody from DFW Auto Club may be bringing their red GT2 RS! Sucks that I'm missing this.
GT2 RS, Murci SV.... wow. Lots more exotics which have never showed up before like a gloss maroon 355 and a bluish/green 360 with an F50-esque hood. Great show....
All Porsches look alike, so how would we know? That said, the orange Murcielago SV that showed up sure didn't look like the other Lamborghinis. Wow! Quite a lot of Lamborghinis and Ferraris including a yellow Diablo 6.0 I haven't seen before. There was an unusual color of blue 360 there with an even more unusual hood/trunk. As far as interesting non-exotics that aren't there every month, there was an Opel GT, a 2002 red and white striped Final Edition (or whatever they were called) Viper GTS, and a very well done Verde Ithaca Nissan GTR.
I believe that color is called Rosso Barchetta, it's my favorite Ferrari red. That's the first time I've ever seen Lambo's outnumber the Ferrari's. What a perfect morning.
