Is this event still happening these days? Might like to stop and see again.

NO. Been gone for several years already. You missed a lot of great years! Look for some videos. I think there are some very limited bits and pieces.

It began in 1989 so this episode is a small slice during the waning years.

That's a shame Bob. I think I was last there in 2012, at the other hotel grounds. Very nice.

Is there any other shows in mid or eastern PA this spring or summer?

Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. I've gone there in my modern Jag and Biturbo several times. Some fellow VLGers there and I have friends from the Maserati community there as well. A few people from the old Pocono show are there sometimes but it's actual vintage racing inside Schenley park, way dangerous IMHO. Lots of fun though, typically very hot! Wide variety of cars and much bigger than Pocono ever was but it's very different too which is good!

That's a haul for me but vintage racing would be very cool.

For me as well. Burns up a day getting there and a day getting back. It's a nice drive most of the way though if you take 80. Lots of rolling hills and vistas. We roll in on Thursday afternoon and leave Monday morning but you could arrive Friday and leave late Sunday afternoon too. BMW is the marque this year and in the past they have had some wicked fast 3 series cars from the late 70's & early 80's that are a lot of fun to watch. Crazy drivers ...

Anyway besides all the typical Hershey events and Carlisle which are also fun but not import oriented that's all I know of.

Whaaaahahahahaha! Just watched a couple videos. I think I'd be safer racing the Isle of Man TT lolol.
Anything with curbs and tree trunks scare the pajeezus out me.
I was invite to do the Isle of Man 2yrs in a row back when I use to race bikes. I quickly declined that!

Here I'm thinking maybe I could join with my Jarama.
Kidding aside, looks very cool, dangerous but cool. I guess if Lambo had a race history they' have their own year.

    Will look into attending.

The factory drivers are there and they drive these new high HP cars on that course like maniacs. Lots of drifting and noise. Last year I forget which manufacturer was do this but in between races the guy went so fast that when he stopped the turbos made a noise like he's wrecked the car. One of them hit and killed a hawk that was going after a rodent too. I'm sure they'd love to have a Jarama there. There's a local Espada there every year but I've never met the guy. Lot's of modern Lambos of course. The Italian portion isn't as nice or big as Pocono was but then we had some really special cars there over the years.
