I just saw this picture from one of person I’m following, I check this number plate and it shows me an engine number 4141. Because sometime due to the private policy it could only show the last 4 digits so I think it could be 14141, which was once owned by N.A.R.T., and also used #38 for racing. However, the information on Internet is limited, and Barchetta.cc also doesn’t have information about the whereabouts of 14141 and the number plate.

BTW if this is 14141, I think the caption of “1 of 15” is wrong? Since this is a later conversion.

Only the early 365 GTB/4s had the engine number the same as the chassis number. 14141 is too late for that. You are correct; 14141 is not one of the 15, but one of the TRACO prepared conversions for NART in period.

Thank you for the answer, so it is only a replica that by accident has an engine number of 4141 with a 14141 livery? Sorry English is not my native language so may misunderstand your reply.

I have no idea if it is the real 14141 or not. Where did you check the registration number, WWU 531J and the number -4141 came up? No Daytona will have an engine number of 14141. -4141, with the first digit missing, may be referring to the chassis number.

I used https://cardotcheck.co.uk/vin-check but it is not free, it is not official website but most of Ferrari could correspond. I will attach the screenshot about it, the year 1971 is the same with 14141.

Thanks. It probably is 14141 as I've seen some Ferraris where the UK V5 registration document shows the engine number the same as the VIN, when the engine number is actually different.

well...14141 did race with #38, but that doesn't mean too much. I was fortunate enough to sit in 14141 once.

Registered as WWU 531J in March 2020 with ch.nr. 14141, according to information obtained.

So judging by that it seems to be the proper one.
