Is this a 355 challenge exhaust??

From what I have seen that looks to be a 355Ch exhaust.

I would be all over that thing for that price!!

The sound would be something quite special.

 

It might be a modified version of the "straight through" version. Looks to have small "hotdog" mufflers inserted.
It would be ear splittingly loud. Too much for street use.

To back up Jame's post. That is exactly what that is and it is a straight thru exhaust concept and very load but it sounds great. Not sure how well it would work on a 5.2 system.

Man, I really wish that was closer to home, I would pay that money just to hear this fitted to my car.

James, just take your muffler off it will sound the same no need to spend the money.

This exhaust would complete my master plan!!

 

I ran my 355 with just testpipes and no muffler for several months on the street. while it pissed the neighbors off... it really isn't stupid loud inside the car. don't get me wrong... its loud... but the ear piercingly loud sounds are behind the car. How convenient....

 

there were at least two 355 challenge exhausts. One for tracks with noise restrictions and at least one without. I have the former on my car and it is a much smaller muffler than the standard exhaust, is louder but not overly loud for everyday driving. It is not as loud as a Tubi but was much less expensive but used.The other exhaust I saw did not have any mufflers on it but was just straight pipes. Perhaps there is another version with small mufflers as depicted. I would defer to someone who was involved in 355 challenge racing.

 

I have one. I've never dared try it...but the PO did and he told me it sounded incredible.
