1984 Maserati Bi Turbo.....I am sure the mere mention of the words send shivers down the spine of certain members...I typed these words into google and one of the results was "worst 50 cars of all time".

Should I run away considering my budget is somewhat limited, I wont be using the car that much, would be an occaisional car. Ot certainly would be an interesting machine to buy and a good way to enter into a relationship with my Maserati dealer.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Jacques stay away and for that sort of money get a 944 or a 968 coupe 6 speed (not the slush tronic).

I spent 14 years driving 944's and my S2 at the end was a tremendous car, bullet proof, excellent handling and brakes....it doesn't sound like a classic Maser V8 though but they are cheap to run.

I aim to have a 968 club sport, supercharged, as a secondary toy down the road.

    Good luck,

    Marc
