    Not really.

They have a plastic coating which gives them a thick dimensional effect.

Actually, they look very nice and don't look like a decal.

Buy it. Unless you bought your car because winning a prize at your local concourse is your idea of the best weekend ever, you will love the sticker. Only the 360 and forward had one as original equipement anyway. The sticker will look really cool as long as it is positioned right on the car. I have one on my 328 and a number of people have told me that it is the coolest part of the car! I looks really good on black cars.

You can also stick it on those thin magnetic sheets and carefully trim (and sand) around the edges of the sheild. If you don't like it then it comes off and no harm to the paint. Put on your tool box. It will stay on your car and not come off.

My mistake, I thought they might have installed those on 355's at the factory but I couldn't remember. Sorry, my error.

Just a note. The early cars GTO, TDF, Testa Rossa, etc. had either painted on Rampants or stickers. They still look great and in my opinion are a great homage to the fantastic sports-car racing success. You better believe Schumi's F-1 car doesn't have a Cloisenne rampant. I have a magnetic one that I love because I move it abit after I wash it and can find the exact place I want it when I finally do something more permanent. The car looks alot different with the rampant in slightly different spots on the quarterpanels. The old 330's and prototype P cars tended to have them a little lower and the GTO's usually had them a bit higher.
It's your car, go for it.-Bob

My car came with a pair of them on the fenders when I bought it-I took them off with in the first 24hrs of ownership. They look like cheap crap on the car , however they do make a nice decoration for my tool box.
