Is it normal for the DCNF to feel cold (with slight condensation) after a spirited drive? Mine did.

After wiping the dew off, my finger smells of gas. Is that normal? Or is a rebuilt in the making?

Because the air through a carb goes through a venturi, it lowers air temps and can, under the right conditions, form ice inside the carburetor. Best conditions for making ice are 50* to 70*F with high humidity. But in any case it can certainly chill down to much colder than ambiant air. And its a carb, they always smell gassy.
