Do you have an account with them? You should call the bank and ask them.
In addition banks will never ask for that kind of info via email

SCAM! Also beware of clicking on links found in E-mails (and some threads). They take you to Bogus sites that may contain “Trojan” programs which will automatically download on your computer.

Some of these programs track your key strokes looking for Credit Card, Bank, or S.S. #'s

My wife and I BOTH got those from BankUSA telling us that our account security had possibly been violated and we needed to verify our account settings. Funny thing is, we don't have accounts there.

I do not have an account with these people, in fact i have never heard of them untill today, but they seemed to know a little about me, E-MAIL address, type of cards held ETC, the original link in my E-MAIL was to a questionaire about card numbers and pin numbers.

Better double-check credit reports - that website is in Citibank's real domain (meaning they are running the server)

The link looks like it is in Citibank's real domain but I bet if he would click it or copy the location of it, it goes somewhere like http://[email protected]/[email protected]

The @ sign in the address means to use it as a username and password for the real site (321.321.321.321) which just ignores it by default. The page probably even looks like an acutal CitiBank page, they probably either link the images directly to CitiBank's servers or they copied them from CitiBank's website.

So it can look trustworthy but still be a scam, so watch out.

No worries....the link may READ as Citibank's site, but running the mouse pointer over the link shows where it is really directed (i.e.: NOT Citibank's site).

Of course that doesn't work on the .gif of the screen capture.

    Ahhh... very clever :)
Way to keep on your toes. That's better security than all the antivirus and firewall programs money can buy.

This is also known as "spoofing".

Spoofers are next in line after spammers and those spyware a$$holes.
