Steve, pretty much ANY site or establishment that contacts YOU and asks for your username and password is a fake; it's definitely a scam... Email him back and tell him his mother wears combat boots...

Any respectable business wouldn't ask you to hand over info like that. Unless it was nocar.com or somthing, but then you are on your own. <<< Don't click that link.

Definate scam. No reputable company would ever ask for those details.

No wonder these scams actually work on people.

If you even had to ask if it was a scam, then there are probably 1000 other people who filled in the info and sent it to them.

How many times has Ebay said that they will never ask for your password? I'd bet at least 100 times. Yet people still ask if it is real or not. Amazing social engineering going on here.

Two rules of thumb with any unsolicted e-mail.

    1) A legitimate e-mail will always adress you by your username, title, name or whatever, never by "Dear User..."

    2) They will never ask you for any account info, they already have it so why would they need to ask??

You won't get a response from these scammers either, I've tried it before. Would be fun though!!
