Yes yes I know this is a one off sergio which is a car where only 6 will be made. However I dont think ferrari is going to collaborate with Pinnafarina for a newly designed car where they can only make 10-20 mill (assuming 2-3 mm a pop and 6 models sold).....

I would have to think a lot of these design elements will make it to the 458M . Just like the ferrari f60 is a modified f12 ....

    what do you guys think??

Hahah. The concept cars are to adopt people to ugly things, I don't like it either. And it's a concept from 2013.

I feel the front should be the back end and the back end should be the front.

No way is this in any way indicative of the 458M.

The reincarnation of the "wrong way" Studebaker. Vergil Exner's design started the company on the road to extinction.

Who knows, maybe we'll find effectively a few details in a new Ferrari serial production car soon...

For example the side air intake, the tail lights design or the rear diffuser.

I've "heard" the 458 successor will get a revised (profoundly!) rear end. The new t-engine is more compact (a better weight balance can be achieved) and produces much more waste heat than the current V8 (an increased ventilation is required). I dare to say the current tail design from the 458 we can check off.

    More like the F12 TRS (80)?? 8^)

Wondering if the design cues in the latest SP are a harbinger of the next 458... Front, rear treatment...

    Yes, basically not.
On the other hand, with so much additional power, it may be a little bit warmer in the engine compartment. ;)

Heat is a consequence of the air compression. When there is insufficient intercooling and warm ambient temperatures, you get heat soak, and engine horsepower falls dramatically. Since I am nearly always driving in warm temps, I nearly always experience power loss in my TT cars. This is one of the reasons I am not likely to be interested in a TT Ferrari V8.

Certainly a challenge, but with an adequate system layout a manageable challenge. And lets be fair, the lower specific density of hot air has also a noticeable negative impact on NA engines.
