    Hi,
Been trying to locate the sending unit on my passenger side, just forward of the half axle, and all I can find is this connector.
I removed the connector by loosing the nut, and there is what appears to be a "pin" pointing down. It kinda "dangles" once is removed, but I put it back again.
It doesn't at all look like the "suposely" correct sending unit I have (Captatore di impulsi x tachimetro 116987)
    What am I missing?
I am looking at the wrong connector?
Do I have a totally wrong sending unit?
or....I am on the rigth track and need to take it further?

    Thanks guys...

Unfortunately, I believe 116987 is not the right part for your car -- you need the mechanically-driven "impluse generator" type of sender. I don't have access to a US 308B/Si SPC to confirm this, but I think you need something like PN 124146 (old PN 106324):

Top photo is your sending unit. Bottom is a different sending unit which will not work on your car. Joe

The lower one is for a 308 QV/Mondial QV and 328.
