Although I had the top up for a short ride home, I could not tell if the car sounded stock or if that is what I can expect from a Tubi (if it is in fact a Tubi) If it is I thought it sounded pretty tame. Any ideas?

ok thx for confirming that. Do eliminating the stock cats make a big difference?

Congrats on the purchase - yes, it is a Tubi. I have the same one on my Spider. Better (more vocal) than the stock version but still very civilized. There are lots of threads here on removing the cats with a bypass pipe which can enhance the sound (and power) but you have to work around the Check Engine Light (CEL) errors.

    Enjoy your car.

Ha Ha - only saw your question re cats after posting my previous comments ... apart from the sound and the free flowing advantages of de-catting I have heard it can add 25HP... not sure if anyone has dyno'd theirs pre and post to verify this.
